Dave Bethers joined the staff of Student Support Services as the learning/retention specialist in August 2003.  He enjoys helping students to develop and enhance college study skills, "My goal is to be a resource for students toward their academic success."

Dave is originally from Logan, Utah. He graduated from Dixie State College in 1998 and continued his education at Utah State University. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish in 2000.  As part of CES he taught as an O.P.T. at the high school level at Garland, Utah for 1 year and Smithfield, Utah for 1 year.

 Dave, his wife, Brittney, and their little girl, Emi, are glad to be out of the cold of Logan. “It feels good to have the Red Sands of Dixie in my shoes again.”
