1984 Year Book

The Hansen Foundation from Salt Lake City and Mr. George Hansen donated matching funds for the construction of the new football field and construction was completed in time for the 1984 football season. 

The newly remodeled Home Economics and Nursing Building was completed in 1984 also, with the facility more  than doubled in size with all rooms and offices enclosed in a beautiful new building. 

A need for additional office space to house the growing Lifelong Learning program was also solved during that same year when the College purchased a building, which formerly housed a real estate agency on St. George Boulevard. This building was moved to its present loca­tion on 300 South across the street from the Gymnasium and the Hand­ball Courts.
