A donation by Dr. O.C. Tanner of Salt Lake City provided a beautiful fountain in the central area between the Administration Building and Student Union Building. In 1975 the landscaping of the area surrounding the fountain was completed. A grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and a donation from Mr. and Mrs. William Child and Mrs. Helen Barber from Syracuse, Utah, made possible the beautiful mosaic mural on the south face of the Fine Arts Center. The 15 foot x 127 foot mural was designed by Utah artist, Harrison Groutage and depicts the historical growth of Utah's Dixie.
