In the
spring of 1962, the legislature appropriated enough money
for two new campus buildings, the Home Economics Building
and the Science building.
President
Bruhn and the College Administration planned that the College
make the break from the old campus and move into the FAC with
the Administration, Library and Students Lunch Room housed there
for the first year. Because of these plans and the two new
buildings, the State approved money for the construction of a
new cafeteria and men's dormitory.
