Ed’s Favorite Cookie Recipe
(My folklore students who collected it say it is based on Mrs. Fields’ cookie recipe. True??)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees 1 # Imperial Margarine         (Room temperature) 2 cups brown sugar ! & ½ cups granulated sugar 3 large eggs 2 T vanilla Cream the above well in a large mixer

Blend, and add to creamed mixture 6 cups flour 1 & ½ tsp baking soda 1 & ½ tsp salt Mix all very well Add 4 cups chocolate chips and 2 cups chopped nuts(optional) Batter will be very stiff ****Bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees (put waxed paper or baking paper on the cookie sheets.  ENJOY!!
