How Do Students Qualify for ETS?
ETS was created to serve a specific
student population, including those that fit one or both of
the following qualifications:
-
First Generation College/Trade School Student:
A student falls under this category if neither parent
completed a college degree.
-
Income Guidelines: A student may also qualify
for ETS if his/her family's taxable income is below a
federally defined level.
In
addition to the qualifications listed above, ETS
administrators will also consider the following when a
student applies for the program: cumulative GPA (must be at
least 2.5), desire to pursue post-secondary education
opportunities, motivation to attend ETS-sponsored
activities, maturity level, and classroom attendance and
conduct.
How Can I Apply for ETS?
Just fill
out an ETS application, and you're on your way! Please
remember that it is extremely important that you fill out
everything on the application using the most accurate and
recent information. Feel free to contact your school's
ETS advisor if you have questions.
Space is limited in the program, so
apply as soon as possible!
How Will I Know If I Have Been
Accepted into ETS?
After you
turn in an application, the ETS advisor will contact you
about admission to the program.
