Class Load
Freshmen students should register for about 16 credits each semester to complete 63 semester credits within a two-year period to earn an associate degree. (summer is not included)

Students should prepare to study a minimum of two hours outside of class for every hour spent in class.

Auditing Courses
  • A student registering to audit a course is considered a regular student in determining part or full-time registration and is charged the tuition and fees for the class.

  • Audited courses are not considered in the required hours for financial aid.

  • Those who wish to audit must fill out an audit card at the Registrar's Office.

  • The deadline for submitting an audit card is the end of the tenth week of the semester.

Repeat Courses
Students may re-register for courses in which they received a low grade.  The first grade can be replaced with the second grade.  A student must register and pay tuition for the repeated class.  Hours earned for the class may only be counted toward graduation requirements once.  After the class is graded for the second time, it is the student's responsibility to fill out a repeat card at the Registrar's Office.  After the card is received, the GPA will be recalculated.
