There have been significant changes in the educational
assistance programs available to veterans and other eligible
persons. The Montgomery GI Bill provides assistance not only to
service members and veterans but also to members of the selected

Monthly
Reporting to Muskogee (Chapter 30 MGIB only)
As a Chapter 30 Montgomery GI Bill
recipient, you are required to check in with Muskogee Regional Processing Center
at the end of each month. You can do this by calling (877) 823-2378 or
going to www.gibill.va.gov/wave/default.cfm
the last day of the month. These are the most convenient, automated ways
to check in, and can be done anytime, 24 hours a day. This will also
shorten the processing time and you will receive your check quicker than if you
send in the monthly enrollment certification you receive from the VA.
Of course, you can report by sending the reply form you received from them.
You will not receive a check from VA unless you check
in with Muskogee. Checking in at the Dixie State College VA
office is a requirement for the school; it will only be recorded locally.
