The Career Planning and Placement Center at Dixie State College is dedicated to providing the highest quality career service, advice, and information that will help prepare students to meet the challenges of the competitive job market of today and tomorrow.

Our Career Planning and Placement Center offers a range of individualized services that can assist you as an employer in finding a pool of qualified and pre-screened students who are eager to take on the challenges of today's workplace.

On-Campus Recruiting

This service enables you to interview qualified candidates who are interested in career opportunities with your company or organization. In addition to handling preparation for and scheduling of all interviews, DSC provides individual rooms for employers to meet privately with candidates.

You may choose to gain an overview of DSC students by interviewing representatives from a variety of academic disciplines or concentrate on recruiting for a specific opening.

Listing Employment Opportunities

Listing a job with the Career Planning and Placement Center allows you the option of having your job opening posted on the Dixie State College student employment board online. Whether you are looking for permanent career employees or temporary part-time student employees, this free source of advertising is highly effective for students and alumni from all academic areas.

The best way to list your job opening with the Career Planning and Placement Center is to submit an online request. The top of this webpage provides a link to post an online job opportunity. You may also fax the job listing to the Career Planning and Placement Center employment office at 435-656-4027. Your request will be submitted and posted to the online job board, as long as it meets the following requirements:

Pay is at least an hourly rate of $8.00/hour.
It does not require up-front fees or purchases before employees can begin working.
Employment does not depend on recruiting of others for income.
